Terms of Service

Last updated: March 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Ringer AI application and related services operated by Technolica, Inc. ("we", "our", "us"). By using The Ringer AI, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

The Ringer AI is a music tool that provides AI-powered stem separation, mixing, and live performance features. You may use the app for personal and professional music production, rehearsal, and live performance purposes.

2. Your Content

You retain all rights to the audio files and content you upload to The Ringer AI. By uploading audio for stem separation, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process the file on our servers solely for the purpose of performing the requested separation. Files are automatically deleted after processing.

You represent that you have the right to use any audio files you upload — either through ownership, license, or applicable fair use for personal practice and performance purposes.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

The Ringer AI offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store (for iOS) or directly through our website (for macOS).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Cloud Processing

Stem separation is performed on our cloud servers. We make reasonable efforts to ensure availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Processing times may vary based on server load and song length.

6. Companion Viewer

The Share Online companion feature uses our relay server to connect your device with bandmates' browsers. Session data (song titles, beat timing, bar position) is transmitted through our server in real time and is not stored permanently. We are not responsible for the content of user-uploaded notes, chord charts, or lyrics shared through the companion viewer.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Ringer AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated results (BPM detection, key detection, stem separation) will be perfectly accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technolica, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of The Ringer AI, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of live performances.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
